MCP connectors, official or custom

The MCP protocol lets you extend an assistant with outside tools. Dalenda accepts official MCP connectors as well as your own, published from your own repository.

• Install an official connector from the built-in catalogue.
• Add your own from its repository URL and environment variables.
• Sort it by category and describe it by its skills.
• Enable, disable or delete it at any time.

Your own MCP servers

A custom connector is added like an official one: you give its name, its repository URL and the environment variables it needs. It stays private to your workspace unless you choose to publish it for the platform's other workspaces. MCP connectors are included in every plan.

API keys whose permissions you choose

An API key connects Dalenda to an outside tool — WhatsApp, Discord, Slack, Telegram or your own. Each key is independent of the others:

• You tick the actions it is allowed to perform, one by one.
• You set how long it lives, or leave it without expiry.
• You see when it was last used, and whether it expires soon.
• You name it after the tool it is meant for.

Rotate or revoke, without touching the account

A compromised key can be rotated: the old one stops working immediately and the new one takes its place with the same permissions. A key you no longer need can be revoked for good. Either way, your account and your other keys are unaffected.

A key is shown once, when it is created: it is never displayed again.

Sourced web search, with your own keys

Dalenda relies on web search engines — Tavily and Exa — to answer from verifiable sources. You can supply your own keys and share them with the members of your workspace by role, rather than managing one per person.

Two-factor authentication

2FA adds a time-based code check at sign-in. You turn it on and off from the security settings.

• A six-digit code generated by your authenticator app.
• Backup codes to keep offline, each usable once.
• Manual key entry if the QR code cannot be scanned.
